First Coast Model Railroad Society — Jacksonville, Florida
We are model railroaders having fun building and operating model trains. In addition to building an HO-scale layout, our members are active in many aspects of the hobby including our traveling On30-scale portable module layout.
Many FCMRS members have served in the US Navy and US Army, and have volunteered in the community at the Cummer Museum to help children experience art, Jacksonville Beaches Museum creating displays, and HabiJax to help build homes.
Our membership ranges from retirees to UNF students, and includes families enjoying a novel and rich experience.
FCMRS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization — donations may be tax-deductible.
